I am a lifelong Alaskan, raised in the Mat-Su Valley. I graduated from the Alaska Institute of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture and Massage Therapy. Through my education not only did I learn the basic massage therapy skills but I also had the opportunity to learn Thai massage, prenatal, cupping, and many more unique modalities. I am an avid learner and always jump at the chance to learn something new. Prior to massage therapy I went to college for information technology, graduated and was in the field for over 12 years, mostly within the Alaska Native healthcare system. I have always been a strong believer in natural ways of healing and helping others, so massage therapy was the perfect choice for a new career. I am still so amazed and grateful that I am fortunate to be able to do what I love!
When not working I love to spend time with my husband and six kids. We enjoy homeschooling, taking road trips, traveling, camping, exploring, hunting for rocks and crystals, kayaking, watching my kids play hockey, freeze drying different foods, learning about herbalism, sewing, crafting and beekeeping.
